WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Each locaLI bred gift box comes wrapped in beautiful teal tissue paper and kraft shred.  When recipients first open the box they are greeted with our complimentary locaLI bred postcard designed for us by local artists with your handwritten gift message. Your locaLI bred box will arrive at your or the recipient’s doorstep in our custom locaLI bred box to protect your new local favorites inside.  

We have taken the time to test and experience all of the Long Island products featured in every box as well as get to know the talented people who make them. Check out our Makers Page to learn more about who we work with.

WHEN WILL MY GIFT BOX ARRIVE?

You will select your preferred shipping method at checkout. Please allow 2-3 processing days from when you place your order. If you select USPS Priority you can expect your locaLI bred box to arrive within 1-3 business days, depending on location. You will receive three emails - one to confirm your order, one when your order has shipped, and a final email when your order has been delivered.

DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE GIFTING SERVICES OR VOLUME GIFTING?

We sure do! locaLI bred works one-on-one with you to design and develop gifts that will leave a lasting impression on your clients, colleagues or guests. For more information, please email us at info@localibred.com.

DO YOU SHIP NATIONWIDE?

Of course! locaLI bred boxes are a great gift to showcase all of the amazing talent across the Island to your friends, family and clients.

CAN I BUY TWO BOXES (OR 10) AND SEND THEM TO ALL DIFFERENT LOCATIONS WITH DIFFERENT GIFT MESSAGES?

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE BOXES IN REAL LIFE? DO YOU HOST POP-UPS?

You can subscribe to our newsletter and stay updated on all upcoming events and new boxes. If you have an idea for a cool spot to host a box pop-up location, we would love to hear from you! Shoot us an email at info@localibred.com.

HOW DOES YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BOX WORK?

4x per year you will receive a box at your door of 6 to 8 seasonally appropriate and Long Island made products. Shipping for subscription boxes is always FREE!

You will be charged $56 every three months (i.e. each season) on the day your box ships, which is the second Tuesday of January, April, July and October. 

The cutoff date to order the Subscription box for each season is the first day of January, April, July and October. Please note that your subscription renews automatically each season. Should you wish to cancel or pause your subscription, you must notify us by email (info@localibred.com) by the cut off date for that season (the first day of January, April, July or October, respectively).

CAN I BUILD MY OWN BOX?  

If you are ordering 10 or more, get in touch at info@localibred.com to learn about creating custom boxes.

WHAT IF THE RECIPIENT HAS AN ALLERGY OR SOME OTHER CONCERN?  

Please tell us if you know of an allergy or have any other concerns via email with your order. We will do our best to accommodate.

Please note that while we have taken the time to test and experience all of the products featured in every locaLI bred box, we cannot be held responsible for any issue the consumer may have with any given product, including but not limited to, allergic reactions or food born illness.

WHAT HAPPENS TO A DELIVERY WHEN THE RECIPIENT IS NOT THERE TO RECEIVE IT?

If the recipient is unavailable to receive their delivery, the gift set will be left at the delivery location. locaLI bred cannot be held liable for theft or damage of the gift, if the intended recipient is unavailable to receive their delivery.

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

locaLI bred purchases are not eligible for return or exchange except in case of damage or breakage. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please email info@localibred.com with your information and include a photo of the damage. Please inform us of any damaged items within 48 hours of receiving your order.  All returns are subject to the discretion of locaLI bred.
